Just a quick post to let you all know that we are safe here in our little town from the devastating fires that have swept through our state. We had a small fire on Saturday and with a huge effort by the CFA they managed to get it under control. With such strong winds and temps of 47 degrees celcius it was a bit scary. Our hearts go out to all the people who have lost family, friends and everything they own to this disaster.
Gail
Our TV stations are carrying news about it frequently with video and we are seeing how terrible the fires are. Oh my, it's just devastating. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.

I am so sorry for all those suffering. I leave in fire country in California and have had it come to my door but the house was saved. Is there anything I can do, donate?

Hi Gail, Glad to hear that you & your family are all safe & well. It has been a devastating week.
Have started your Midsummer Garden as a sample for the shop, while I am resting after a short stay in hospital. It will be a great opportunity to get some stitching done. Del QH
