The last few weeks I have been finishing some quilts for me. I had several scrappy quilt tops that had been sitting around for a while so I decided to finish them.
here is one of them that I absolutely love!!!
I also wanted to finish my double wedding ring......all hand pieced and hand quilted..only the binding sewn on the machine!!!! Very pleased with this too!!!
Now it is back to work. I am heading off to Tasmania in March to teach at The Quilted Crow (autumn gathering) and have been working on the projects.........
here is a sneak peek of one...
You may also notice the Homespun BOM button on the left (thanks to Jarrod for taking 2 minutes to work it out......after I spent half an hour trying to do it myself!!!)
The first issue is out now and has a block from Janelle Wind and Leanne Beasley
My block will be in next months.....
Bye for now
Cheers
Gail

Gail- I have been following your blog for awhile now and really enjoy your quilts and sticheries. I live in the USA- is there a place that I can purchase your patterns. Can I buy directly from you? Thank you so much for the free patterns.
Happy Quilting,

Très beaux quilts, j'ai un faible pour les anneaux de mariage en général, mais le premier me plait beaucoup aussi

Beautiful scrappy quilts. I love the defined lines created in the 9-patch and the controlled scrappy look of the wedding ring. Nice color combo! Scrap quilts are my favorites! ~karen

One satisfied Gail eh? the quilts are beautiful, in particular the nine patch its such a homely, snuggle in me, design...Gail I think its waiting for winter and a good book to read while keeping warm under the quilt.
Now I better get going so I can do my quilts, mmmm!
Happy New Year - have a great one.

9 and 4 patch scrap quilts are my favourites, so it was great to see your's; a combination that I havent seen before, but will now aspire to! I will just admire the wedding ring, too much hand piecing for me! Too many great quilts and not enought sewing time hey!
Happy sewing Sue.

Congrats on your finishes, they look so beautiful! You've been busy, I can tell :o)
It's nice to finish a lovely quilt for your own, too. I'm hoping to do that soon, I have no finished ones for myself yet, but hope to get there this year ;o)
I also hope to do more of the projects from your book soon, too.

I visit your blog from time to time and just had to comment on the 9-patch quilt; it is amazing! I love how you put stripes in between the blocks and I also love the assorted small squares scattered throughout.
